How do I make a purchase on line?

First select the currency for your country from the left hand side panel. Once you have viewed the product description you will see the shopping cart at the bottom. Choose the quantity and ensure you have the correct size.(If you are an Aura Art Glass member already then please enter your password membership number to add any entitled discounts.) At this stage an option box is available if you wish to customise any element of your order. Then choose which delivery is appropriate for your country. Select your chosen postage. Orders over £25 are free and this will automatically show on the order page. All UK taxes are included in our price.  Then give your billing details on the next page, following this your payment details . Online payment is available by credit or debit card using Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Maestro via Paypal or you can choose Moneybookers.com. There is also an option online if you wish to place an order and purchase by cheque or by bank transfer (BACS)

What happens after I've completed the checkout process?

You will recieve an email to confirm your order. If an item is not in stock and requires making we will notify you when your order is being made. This is the start point of our making process, please bear in mind that only a limited amount of goods can be made each day and each will also need to spend many hours in the kiln, this means if a number of items are ordered it might take a period of days to complete an order. If there is a backup of orders or we are waiting for any supplies we will inform you. We will then forward an email advising when goods are completed and dispatched and notify you of any tracking number if relevant.

Any problems or queries with your order can be dealt with by email or by calling our 24 hour customer service. We keep you informed all through the process until receipt of goods.

How is my order packaged?

Ordered beads, beadsets or focals are sent wrapped in a polythene bag, bubble wrap, and tissue lovingly wrapped and placed in 'Jiffy-style' bag for mailing. This is not our Gift wrapping service.

Jewellery is packaged in tissue and organza bag if small item or in silver colour ribboned jewellery box with anti-tarnish foam pad, polythene bag and placed in'Jiffy-style' bag for mailing. Membership details are included with invoice.This is not our Gift wrapping service.

How can I send my order as a present to an alternative address?

If an alternative delivery address is given ie for a gift. Please enter 'GIFT' in text area, for this we will not include the invoice, but include a complimentary gift slip with the purchasers name. We also offer a gift wrap service if required, please select which occasion when adding order to cart.

Is Gift wrapping service available?

Yes, all items ordered can be gift wrapped at £2.00 charge, this includes appropriate occasion wrapping, gift tag, ribboning and outer box. Some of our items already include this option on description page, if so, select correct celebratory occasion. If this option is not available then add in text box note and an invoice will be sent by email for extra charge.

I don't live in the UK, do you ship to other countries?

Yes, we will deliver to almost any country providing payment is made on order, usually we post by Royal AirMail. The charge is added at the shopping cart

How much is delivery?

United Kingdom- £1.00 (below £25.00)

Free delivery orders over £25.00

Recorded delivery-£1.50

Special delivery - £5.00

Orders below £35 are sent by 1st class Royal Mail. We recommend recorded post or special delivery as these are trackable services.

Orders over £25 include recorded 1st class Mail postage and insurance.

Certificate of postage is obtained for every order and we will happily forward a copy should this be requested.

Larger quantity orders -costs are advised prior to dispatch.

What is Paypal or Moneybookers?

Paypal and Moneybookersare globally recognised secure online payment systems. Paypal enables buyers to send and receive money online. Paypal has over 64 million member accounts in 45 countries. Moneybookers is reputed throughout the world and is a common payment system in USA, China, Japan etc. When you use Paypal or Moneybookers your financial information is never shared with the merchant. Paypal and Moneybookers helps protect your credit card information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems.

 I don't have confidence in online shopping , can I make alternative arrangements?

We use a secure server and we never pass any of your details to any third parties. In the same way if you don't want to receive further information from us ie, membership, newsletters etc you can opt out by adding a note at the shopping cart during purchase.Please read our Privacy and security policy above.

Alternatively payment is accepted by cheques  drawn on a UK bank account. If you wish to pay for your goods by cheque this option is available on our shopping cart. However if you require to pay by Postal Order please email at ingrid@auraartglass.com quoting item/s required together with relevant code or name.Our shopping cart also has the facility to accept cheques, so an order can be placed and payment cheque forwarded by snail mail. A confirmation email will be sent to you by return, confirming your order. Or we will  confirm by telephone if you haven't email.

Please understand that delivery will usually take longer by cheque or postal order as your order will not be made or sent until payment has cleared, at our discretion. Usually around 7 days .

However if you prefer to talk to someone and make an order call us and we'll be able to help you or write by snail mail if you prefer.

 What if I'm not satisfied with my goods, How do I get a refund?

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase please see our terms and conditions on the bottom of each page, next to site map. Customer satisfaction is a priority and we will do our best to ensure satisfaction.

How do I become a member?

It's easy, all you need to do is purchase an item from us to the value of £25.00 and you will automatically be registered as a valued Aura Art Glass  member. Your membership number will be sent to you in the post accompanying your purchase with full details. Discount is applied to your collector account automatically on your next purchases (providing you enter your membership number).

How do I claim my discount?

Once you have made a purchase and received your membership number from our customer service, then on any future purchases online at the shopping cart enter your membership number. The relevant discount will be applied at the shopping cart, and adjusted accordingly (click to recalculate totals). Remember to choose the correct postage. The final total will be displayed. If there is any problem just give us a phone call.

What if I forget my membership number?

If you lose your membership number please don't hesitate to telephone or of course email us or write.

 Can I get wholesale / trade prices?

If you have a retail outlet or distribute please fill in our wholesale form to register for a trade account.  We will contact you with our Wholesale terms & conditions. Once registered our online systems will then discount the correct amount off any online orders. We will advise if any documentation is required and then discuss your needs.
