Precious Plum

This is a really special bead. The second focal bead( the first sold too quick for me to upload on the web!)  i'm sure there'll be more gold beads to come as I'm a sucker for precious metals!  

Combining silvered ivory with the irridescence of an oil slick, this special glass rod has got to be one of my favourites so there's more designs using this glass to come shortly. (unfortunately the irridescence doesn't show well on  the photo) Finished with blobs of pure melted 24ct gold on the front of this bead, the bead is almost circular in design.

The bead measures 23mm x 23mm x 7.25mm.

2.4mm bead hole..

Cleaned & kiln annealed, of course.
